So I spend a good chunk of time reading up on miata.net to learn more about my car. I was interested to see how many people have gone on lengthy road trips with a Miata so I made a post. Eventually, I was linked to this awesome masterpiece of a thread about a Canadian recent college grad that circumnavigated the whole country over the course of 4 months last summer. It is an amazing tale to read for sure with some spectacular pictures. Warning: there are 36 pages and it’s totally worth reading through 100% of it!

If you need more reason to read through the whole thing, just check out some of the picture albums found here:

There are many more of those if you read through the posts. The whole story is awesome and truly inspiring.

Nice find. I am reading now! All this talk of road trips... I need to plan one very soon. Even if it isn’t a long one.

Best parts of a road trip are the unplanned parts. Loose plans are useful and packing well but being flexible on destinations, routes, and dates really helps make things epic.

Completely agree. I’m not much for planning things lol.
